Unlike other banding machines which use a heat seal, the US-2000 machine uses an ultrasonic weld. It is a cleaner, better controlled sealing method and offers the following advantages:
- Weld strength is adjustable from a peelable to a permanent weld
- No adhesive build-up on the sealing head results in less maintenance and fewer band jams
- Stronger seal allowing higher tension
- No warm-up time required
- Cold weld process eliminates the risk of heat damage to the product or injury to personnel
